Roxavid is a blood thinner that helps prevent harmful blood clots from forming in the body.


Lower the risk of stroke and blood clots in adults with irregular heartbeat (called non-valvular atrial fibrillation) who also have one or more risk factors such as heart failure,high blood pressure,age 75 years or older,diabetes,or a previous stroke or mini-stroke.


Treat blood clots in the veins (deep vein thrombosis or DVT) and blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism or PE). Prevent DVT and PE from coming back in adults.


Available in a blister pack of 7 film-coated tablets (box of 28’s).

Roxavid 20mg Film-Coated Tablet

Roxavid 20mg film-coated tablet (Rivaroxaban) is an antithrombotic agent (direct factor Xa inhibitor), used in prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (SPAF), with one or more risk factors, such as congestive heart failure, hypertension, age ≥ 75 years, diabetes mellitus, prior stroke or transient ischaemic attack. It is also used for the treament of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and prevention of recurrent DVT and PE in adults.
